Brian joined Sugarbush Real Estate in 2000 as a partner and became Principal Broker in 2010.  He has been a licensed broker since 1980 and knows the Central Vermont real estate market as well as anyone in the business. In addition to residential, commercial, and land sales, Brian has been involved with the development and marketing of numerous residential subdivision projects, including North Ridge Meadows, The Vasseur Farm, Hidden Brook, Emerson Place and most recently Lincoln Ridge, a ski home community at Lincoln Peak. As a member of the Central Vermont Board of Realtors Professional Standards committee for more than twenty years, Brian holds himself and his agents to the highest ethical standards.

Brian is proud to be a fifth generation Vermonter from Montpelier and a graduate of the University of Vermont where he received a Bachelor of Science degree in Business Administration. He and his wife, Maureen, a retired speech-language pathologist, met while attending UVM . They moved to the Mad River Valley in 1978 and have lived in Waitsfield since 1984. They have one son, Ian, who continues to enjoy skiing, biking, and hiking in the Valley with his dad. Other family pursuits include windsurfing, fly-fishing, chess, and travel.
